Who we are
The Data Key is an automation studio based in Leuven, Belgium. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
The only personal data this website collects is what you choose to send us through the contact form: your name, business name, email address, the service you are interested in, and any message you include.
We do not use analytics trackers or advertising cookies on this site. Your language preference is stored locally in your own browser and is never sent to us.
Why we use it
We use the information you submit for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you decide to work with us, to prepare that collaboration. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you initiate (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are delivered to our mailbox by an email delivery provider and kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry or the business relationship that follows from it, after which they are deleted.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are transmitted to us via an email delivery service acting as a processor. This website is hosted by Netlify. We never sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to restrict or object to its processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in Belgium, the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be); in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Contact
For any question about this policy or your data, email us at info@thedatakey.co and we will respond as soon as possible.
